Terms of Service

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. We verify your date of birth when you sign up and do not knowingly allow anyone under 13 to create an account. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login secure, and for activity that happens under your account. We authenticate accounts using email one-time passcodes or Google and Apple sign-in. We never set or store passwords. Tell us promptly at admin@unionpeeps.com if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. Beta / early access

The Service is currently offered as a beta. It may be incomplete, may change without notice, may be unavailable at times, and features may be added or removed. We may limit access — for example, by invitation or waitlist — and we provide the beta on an “as is” basis.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you create. By posting content, you grant UnionPeeps a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, adapt (for example, to resize or format), and display that content solely to operate, provide, and improve the Service. You represent that you have the rights to the content you post and that it does not violate these Terms or the law. You are responsible for your content.

5. Acceptable use — no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive users

We have no tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree not to:

• break the law or infringe the rights of others;
• harass, threaten, bully, or harm other people;
• post hateful content, sexual exploitation, child sexual abuse material, or graphic violence;
• post content that promotes self-harm, terrorism, or illegal goods;
• send spam, scrape the Service, or use unauthorized bots;
• impersonate any person or entity;
• upload malware or attempt to breach security;
• access accounts, data, or systems that do not belong to you, or otherwise interfere with the Service.

Our Community Guidelines set out these rules in full and form part of these Terms.

6. Reporting, blocking, moderation & enforcement

You can report any post, comment, story, union, or person from inside the app. You can also block another person; blocking is mutual, so neither of you can see the other. We review reports and act on the ones that break these Terms or the Community Guidelines. We may remove or restrict content, and may warn, suspend, limit, or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe create risk or legal exposure for the Service, our users, or others.

We aim to act on reports of objectionable content within 24 hours. Accounts responsible for such content may be removed, and content in breach is ejected from the Service.

7. Intellectual property

The Service — including its software, design, and trademarks — is owned by UnionPeeps and its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or branding.

8. Third-party services

The Service integrates third parties, including Google and Apple sign-in, app stores, cloud storage, and notification and messaging providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. Where you download the app from the Apple App Store or Google Play, those stores’ terms also apply.

9. Termination and account deletion

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account. Deletion starts a 30-day grace period, during which signing back in cancels it; after that your personal data is permanently removed. You can also deactivate your account, which hides it until you sign back in.

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or where necessary to protect the Service or others. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including ownership, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will survive.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, UnionPeeps will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold UnionPeeps harmless from any claims arising out of your content, your use of the Service, or your breach of these Terms.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version here and in the app and update the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. The courts of India will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, unless mandatory local law provides otherwise.
